Agronomist and Agri Service owner Mary Matava will give a talk specific to San Diego soils before leading a tour of the El Corazon facility to see how organic waste is turned into compost, mulch, and engineered soil. Attend this event and learn:
•The types of soils we have in San Diego.
•How to identify them, i.e. clay soil, and how well they work (or don’t) with plants, water.
•How to get organics back into the soil and improve conditions using composted products.
Lunch with product presentation and Q&A period will follow the tour.
