Join CLCA San Diego for a hands-on CHP Driver & Truck Rodeo designed to help landscape professionals understand commercial vehicle requirements and what CHP officers look for during roadside inspections.

Retired CHP Commercial Enforcement Officer Doug Tracy, who brings 35 years of experience, will cover pre-trip inspections, load securement, hazardous materials, GVWR and licensing requirements, and CARB compliance. Following the classroom session, attendees will head outside for a live truck and trailer inspection demonstrating what CHP looks for when a commercial vehicle is pulled over.

The training applies to vehicles ranging from F-150s to 18-wheelers, making it valuable for owners, managers and anyone responsible for company vehicles and drivers.
