CLCA San Diego Chapter
The San Diego Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association boasts over 250 members and is one of the state's largest and most active chapters. Each year, the chapter hosts a number of informative, social and educational meetings which allow members to keep abreast of industry trends, network with their peers and just have some fun. Among the annual activities chapter members enjoy are a golf tournament, a local awards program, ballgame outings, roundtable meetings and a holiday dinner. The chapter also produces a monthly newsletter (Offshoot), participates at local home, garden and consumer information fairs, hosts the Landscape Industry Certified Test at Cuyamaca College in the spring, and stays involved in local political issues affecting the landscape industry such as water conservation and sustainability issues.

Educational Meetings

Educational seminars are geared toward owners and foreman level employees covering topics such as: Irrigation Technology, Edible Gardens, Estimating, Team Management, Soils and Fertilizers, Pruning, Grading and Drainage, and other areas.
These educational events are usually coupled with a new member luncheon which introduces our newest members to the many benefits of CLCA membership.
