Rocktoberfest Rocks at KRC
There's nothing like a piping hot pizza fresh out of KRC's outdoor brick oven to compliment an ice cold beer shared with friends and colleagues.
Over 80 CLCA San Diego members and their guests put this to the test on Thursday, October 27, during the chapter's annual Oktoberfest get together. With no agenda beyond socializing with other industry professionals, this get together is always well attended with members old and new appearing "out of the woodwork."
This year's event was held at KRC Rock's demonstration yard, complete with a new outdoor kitchen and pizza oven. Thank you KRC Rock for hosting the event and for the great pizza, and thank you to all who came out to enjoy it!
Networked is CLCA's ONLY Endorsed Insurance Program
Are you confused about which insurance program has earned the CLCA endorsement? If so, you may not be the only one. CLCA Headquarters has received several calls from members informing the association that the previously endorsed insurance program is still sending letters claiming that it is the CLCA-endorsed program.
Just to clear up the confusion, it is not! CLCA has only ONE endorsed insurance agent: Networked Insurance Agents, the CLCA Insurance Solutions Program.
Low Rates and Member Discounts
CLCA Insurance Solutions provides workers’ compensation, liability, property and vehicle insurance. It also handles all types of construction sureties. And it can arrange for group health insurance for individual members.
Because of its multi-carrier structure that results in many carriers competing for your business, its rates are extremely competitive. CLCA members also get discounts that average 10 percent on all property and casualty insurance.
Here’s the Contact Information to Keep Handy:
Members in southern California should contact Unickel Insurance and ask for Burt Gross at (855) 443-CLCA.
Members in central or northern California should contact ARM Multi-Insurance Services and ask for Gina Stanley at (855) 662-CLCA.

Why Hire a Landscape Industry Certified Technician?
Hiring a landscape contractor for your property is not an easy job. An estimate alone doesn’t gauge the quality and professionalism the company can offer your community, but when a contractor is certified in the landscape industry, this speaks volumes.
When looking for the best landscape contractor to do the job, consider those with “Landscape Industry Certified Technician” or the initials “CLT” on their business card... MORE
