Reasons to Join the California Landscape Contractors Association, San Diego Chapter

With growing concerns over the continued availability of water in the San Diego region, licensed landscape contractors are working to conserve this precious resource while still maintaining San Diego's unique beauty through the careful design, installation and management of the county's landscapes. The efforts of these stewards of our environment were recognized on June 24th at the California Landscape Contractors Association's Annual Beautification Awards Program hosted by the San Diego Chapter. The program was held at the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College, and recognized excellence in landscape construction and maintenance through competition among California licensed landscape professionals.

The CLCA San Diego chapter presented 52 Beautification Awards in 26 categories, culled from 105 entries, which encompassed categories covering residential and commercial landscape construction, maintenance and renovation, along with water features, outdoor lighting and water-saving California-friendly design.
